June, July and august are peak months, with aggressive salmon feeding in very shallow in both the mornings and evenings—making for incredible action and great catch rates. This is also one benefit to fishing out of Baileys Harbor vs other ports on the lake like Sturgeon Bay and Algoma, our Shallow structure filled water is VERY close to shore. In turn, this results in less running time which means more fishing time for the customer! Every customer we take out comments on how close out runs are to fishing grounds. Early in June we have very close runs, less than 1 mile some days!
