June 26-July 2 Fishing the week of June 26-July 2 has been better for walleyes and perch than anything else! We have been doing a lot of walleye trips this week due to our salmon and trout not fully being here yet. June 19-25 Fishing the week of June 19-25 has been good but we are certainly waiting for our salmon and trout to fully show up! There are a few fish around but not a crazy population yet, but they are coming! When they finally do show up it should be a record year as far as numbers of salmon and the amount of bait in the system. This week we have been fishing for everything! Walleyes, Bass, Trout and Salmon all throughout Door County, WI. Walleyes have been biting in the lower bay and on the west shore. June 5-11 Fishing the week of June 5-11 has remained very good in Door County! The small mouth bass fishing has been good. From what I have been finding a lot of the bass in the area are on beds spawning. There are certainly fish out deeper too that still have spawn in them. Spring fishing in Door County has been awesome this year! We certainly had a more ‘normal’ spring this year with a later ice out, regular water levels, and cooler temps in April. These are the springs we once had! The last few years (2019-2021) were somewhat early springs and mild winters. This year with it being a litter more normal we are seeing fish in areas where they used to be for the first week of June. Both the Green Bay side and the Lake Michigan side are a bit coole
